BCS manager Luke Norman wins Strata Manager of the Year
At Body Corporate Services (BCS), Southport, we always try and deliver the best results and service for our owners and committees. When our staff win prestigious awards, we take it as a sign that we’re giving our customers excellent body corporate management.
To add to our track record of industry recognised staff and leaders, we would like to congratulate Luke Norman for winning Strata Community Manager of the Year at the Australasia Awards 2019-2020. It’s been an exciting year for Luke Norman and the team in the Southport branch with Luke also winning Queensland Strata Manager of the Year earlier this year.
According to Luke, “it has been an exciting experience for myself and my family and a real honour to represent BCS and PICA Group at the SCA Queensland and SCA Australasian service excellence awards. Just by being a finalist, I feel I have won in a crowded and expert field. There is a lot of good talent in the industry, so it’s a real compliment to have won,” said Luke.
Luke’s submission to the Australasia Awards reflected on his three main strengths: consistency of high-quality customer service, working quickly to help owners, and being honest when providing advice. Luke also addressed his focus on ongoing professional development as a mechanism that has helped him be a successful and recognised strata manager. “I have worked really hard to continue my professional learning and grow my networks. I have undertaken lots of the SCA courses, webinars and completed a Diploma of Strata. Making sure you continue to learn, helps establish confidence,” said Luke.
With a passion for the industry and his organisation, Luke intends to become even more involved by taking on volunteering with SCA and looks forward to growing with BCS in the years to come.
Well done, Luke!
