QR codes needed for visitor and contractor access to owners corporation properties
All owners corporations must use the Victorian Government QR service, or a digital record-keeping service linked to the Victorian Government Application Programming Interface, to keep records of visitors to common and shared areas.
The deadline for this is 23 April 2021. It is essential to review your record-keeping methods and update them if necessary before this date.
COVIDsafe requirements for owners corporations
Aligned with the Victorian Government COVIDSafe requirements, owners corporations are required to:
- Have a COVIDSafe plan in place for your property
- Use Victorian Government-compliant QR codes or digital services to record details of any visitors (including contractors and service providers) to common or shared areas for contact tracing purposes.
